SAUMLAKI, LELEMUKU.COM - The Regent of the Tanimbar Islands, Petrus Fatlolon, on Friday, 18 June 2021 in Saumlaki, Tanimbar, Maluku welcomed three guests from the Indonesian government in Jakarta.

The guests were the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono., Minister for National Development Planning, Suharso Monoarfa and the Head of the Navy, Admiral Yudo Margono.

The Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Minister of Development Planning have an agenda of reviewing the facilities of the Indonesian National Fish Barn (LIN) program in Saumlaki.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Indonesian Navy inaugurated the dock at the Saumlaki Navy Base.

The Regent said the arrival of the three guests from Jakarta was to see the readiness of Tanimbar as an area that would develop with the assistance of the Indonesian government.

"Both Ministers are very happy with the development progress in Tanimbar," Fatlolon said.

The regent also submitted a proposal to the two ministers to help fishermen and build roads in Tanimbar.

He also asked the minister to propose the addition of the Mathilda Batlayeri Airport runway.

Finally, the regent asked for a plan to build a Human Resources Training Center to meet the operation of the liquefied natural gas refinery construction project in Inpex - Masela Block. (Laura Sobuber)
